Here is a look at the Squad Up daily MLB fantasy picture for the 11-game slate beginning at 7:05 ET on Wednesday, April 19:

Hitter Stacks

  • Cincinnati Reds vs. Baltimore Orioles (RHP Ubaldo Jimenez): Cincinnati ranks ninth in team wOBA against right-handed pitching so far this season and only three teams strike out at a lower rate. Jimenez has walked three hitters through his first 8 2/3 innings of the season, actually lowering his career BB/9.
3-player stack: OF Billy Hamilton (51K), 2B Jose Peraza (54K), 1B Joey Votto (68K)
  • New York Yankees vs. Chicago White Sox (RHP Dylan Covey): The Yankees continue to lead the league in weighted on-base average vs. right-handed pitchers, boasting a mark of .357. Since none of the Yankees' players have reached a superstar level of consistency, you can consider this a contrarian stack.

3-player stack: OF Aaron Hicks (50K), 3B Chase Headley (46K), 2B Starlin Castro (49K)

  • Houston Astros vs. Los Angeles Angels (RHP J.C. Ramirez): Ramirez has walked four and struck out just six through his first 10 innings of the season. He'll be making his second start of the year and has happened into a 2-1 record through his first three appearances (two out of the bullpen). The Astros have the third-lowest team strikeout rate against right-handed pitching. Only three teams have a better wOBA.
3-player stack: OF Josh Reddick (54K), 2B Jose Altuve (63K), C Brian McCann (51K)

Pitcher Breakdown

  • TARGET - RHP Masahiro Tanaka (88K), Yankees (vs. White Sox): Chicago strikes out in 25.2 percent of team plate appearances against righties and boasts a team wOBA of .266, worse than all but two teams. Tanaka has issued an alarming eight walks through 14 innings, but he has racked up 12 Ks. Three of his 13 hits allowed have gone for home runs. It's likely the last chance to get him in this salary tier.
  • BARGAIN - RHP Jordan Zimmermann (64K), Tigers (at Rays): Zimmermann's strikeout rate plummeted to 5.64 hitters per nine in 2016. He is on track to lower his rate even further with just six strikeouts through his first 10 2/3 innings this season. Working in his favor? No team strikes out more often than the Rays at 28.1 percent.
  • FADE - RHP Julio Teheran (75K), Braves (vs. Nationals): Teheran's pristine 0.95 ERA is a product of not allowing a single home run through 19 innings. His xFIP of 4.49 tells a more accurate story. He has struck out 15 batters but walked eight. His hard-hit rate of 19.6 percent is well below his career average, while his 32.7 percent line-drive rate is well above. The Nationals rank seventh in team ISO against righties.
  • CONTRARIAN - RHP Vince Velasquez (85K), Phillies (at Mets): The Mets rank fifth in walk rate (9.7 percent) against RHPs, but their wOBA against righties is an awful .267. Velasquez is a flamethrower, punching out 17 batters per nine through two starts. His unpredictability means he could punch out 10 batters or walk six and be out of the game by the fourth inning, but the upside's there.

Bargain Plays

  • SS Freddy Galvis (37K), Phillies (at Mets): Galvis, a switch-hitter, has had much better success against right-handed pitching this season. He has hit both of his home runs in the strong side of his split, adding a double and four singles. He has drawn just one walk against nine strikeouts, but Mets RHP Robert Gsellman has allowed five walks and two homers through 10 2/3 innings.
  • 1B Greg Bird (37K), Yankees (vs. White Sox): Bird's salary has drastically cooled since a slow start to the regular season followed his breakout preseason. He is now two games removed from his first home run and multi-hit game of the year. White Sox RHP Dylan Covey has just 5 1/3 MLB innings on his resume.

Top Fades

  • SS Corey Seager (61K), Dodgers (vs. Rockies): Owners can't overlook Rockies LHP Tyler Anderson on the road. He held lefty hitters to a .214 batting average as a visitor in 2016, and he struck out 23 of the 129 total lefties he faced last season. Seager has struck out in 60 of 290 PAs against lefty pitching.
  • SS Brad Miller (55K), Rays (vs. Tigers): Miller has earned his reputation as a boom-or-bust hitter with a .243 average but a career-high 30 HRs in 2016. The gap between boom and bust has deepened so far in 2017; the infielder is hitting just .208 and his 39 percent strikeout rate vs. RHPs ranks sixth among all major league hitters with at least 30 PAs.
  • 1B Brandon Belt (62K), Giants (at Royals): Belt's home field of AT&T Park in San Francisco has been blamed for his failure to deliver on promises of 30-plus home run seasons. He'll visit a near-equal pitcher-friendly park in Kansas City, and he'll face Royals LHP Jason Vargas, who has yet to allow a homer this year.

Contrarian Plays

  • 2B Ryan Schimpf (55K), Padres (vs. Coyotes): Schimpf has been a premier fly-ball hitter so far in his career and is rolling at a rate of 65.4 percent so far in 2017. He's making hard contact just 19.2 percent of the time, but he qualifies as medium contact on 53.8 percent of the balls he puts in play. He has identical walk and strikeout rates of 26.8 percent. His .087 BABIP will rise to boost his paltry .128 batting average.
  • OF Jay Bruce (54K), Mets (vs. Phillies): Bruce ranks 14th in the majors with a .462 wOBA vs. RHPs among all players with at least 30 plate appearances against righties. Unlike most of the players ahead of him, Bruce doesn't have the usual markers of unsustainable good luck; his .320 BABIP and 21.1 percent line-drive rate against RHPs are quite reasonable.
