Beat the Streak contestant's record run ended by Blue Jays' Carrera

Robert Mosley is no longer streaking.
Mosley, a participant in Major League Baseball's Beat the Streak competition, saw his record 51-game run end Monday when Toronto Blue Jays outfielder Ezequiel Carrera went 0-for-4 against the Atlanta Braves, according to MLB.com's Chad Thornburg.
Beat the Streak asks contestants to correctly predict which players they think will earn hits in a game with the hope of building a streak of success. If an entrant reaches 57 games - beating Joe DiMaggio's 56-game record hitting streak, which inspired the contest - they'll earn $5.6 million in prize money.
Carrera nearly kept Mosley's run alive in the game's fifth inning when he narrowly beat out a grounder to the left side of the infield, but Braves second baseman Jace Peterson made a nice play for the out.
No one has ever put together a 57-game streak. However, Beat The Streak hands out a $10,000 consolation prize every season that no one bests DiMaggio's run.
Mosley's 51-game streak surpassed the previous record of 49, which was set in 2007 and matched in 2016.
