Look: Szczur's Cubs painting fetches $35K at charity auction

Chicago Cubs outfielder Matt Szczur immortalized the euphoric moment after the last out of the 2016 World Series in a painting, and on Wednesday, during a charity auction, his debut piece fetched $35,000.
The picture depicts Kris Bryant and Anthony Rizzo celebrating the Cubs' first World Series win since 1908, after teaming up to record the game-sealing out. Since then, Bryant and Rizzo have formed a fictitious souvenir company called Bryzzo.
Szczur certainly proved he's a renaissance man. If only he prevented Rizzo and Bryant from defacing his fine artwork with those silver scribbles.
