Watch: Posey picks off Turner at 2nd to down Dodgers
John Hefti / USA TODAY Sports
This is probably not how you want to lose the first game of the season against your hated rival.
Down to their final out against the San Francisco Giants, the Los Angeles Dodgers looked threatening in the ninth with Adrian Gonzalez at the plate and Justin Turner in scoring position.
Turner, though, got a little overzealous at second base, and was expertly picked off by an attentive Buster Posey, giving the Giants first blood in the four-game series.
