It's safe to assume Cincinnati Reds pitchers wish Eric Thames stayed in South Korea.
The slugger stayed scorching hot Tuesday, hitting his league-leading 11th home run. To put that into perspective, Thames is the first Brewers player in team history to hit 11 home runs in the month of April. Astonishingly, it was also his eighth blast against the Reds this year.
He's on pace to hit 81 home runs - and 25 against the Reds. Those are only some of the eye-popping statistics Thames - nicknamed "God" during his time overseas - has provided during his renaissance in the majors.
For good measure, Thames also leads all of baseball in runs scored with 25, two ahead of Bryce Harper.
