Angels' Yunel Escobar: Ramps up running

Escobar (hamstring) has begun running and should run the bases sometime during the coming weekend, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.

Analysis:

Escobar has been on the 10-day disabled list since May 14 after straining his hamstring. He had a timetable of 2-to-4 weeks and could return before the end of May.
