Tommy Lasorda released from hospital following heart surgery
The Los Angeles Dodgers had some good news about their iconic former manager Tommy Lasorda on Sunday.
Lasorda was hospitalized during the week and underwent surgery to replace his pacemaker Thursday. On Sunday, the Dodgers announced on Twitter that the Hall of Famer was released from hospital and has returned home, where he's now "resting comfortably."

Lasorda has dealt with heart issues for many years. A 1996 heart attack forced him to retire as Dodgers manager in the middle of that season.
The 89-year-old Lasorda won 1,599 games and a pair of World Series championships while piloting the Dodgers from 1976-96, and was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1997. He now serves as a special advisor to chairman Mark Walter.
