In "The Old Man and the Sea," one of his many canonical works, Ernest Hemingway famously wrote: "A man can be destroyed but not defeated."
Hemingway never met The Freeze, though.
In what's becoming an increasingly common occurrence at SunTrust Park, The Freeze both destroyed and defeated some sorry fool who decided to race him Thursday night between innings as the Atlanta Braves hosted the San Francisco Giants.
All hail The Freeze.
