The Bronx Bombers are taking their talents to South Beach.
Ahead of his club's penultimate series before the All-Star break, New York Yankees phenom Aaron Judge - the MLB leader with 27 homers - confirmed Monday that he and teammate Gary Sanchez will participate in the 2017 Home Run Derby next week at Marlins Park.
Judge and Sanchez will look to dethrone reigning champion Giancarlo Stanton, who will have home-field advantage for the Derby, in a bracket-style tournament that will also feature Minnesota Twins slugger Miguel Sano and Los Angeles Dodgers rookie Cody Bellinger, among others.
"We're going to be rooting each other on, but this is a competition," Judge told MLB.com's Bryan Hoch. "It's a friendly competition."
