Report: Price's spat with Eckersley due to remark about other Red Sox player
The mid-flight argument between Boston Red Sox southpaw David Price and NESN analyst Dennis Eckersley on Thursday night - which manager John Farrell later confirmed following initial reports - apparently kicked off after Eckersley made a comment about another Red Sox player, and not Price himself, sources told MLB Network's Jon Morosi.
It's not immediately clear which player was the subject of Eckersley's comments, or what was later said between the analyst and Price.

Though Price didn't elaborate on what exactly transpired between the two, the 31-year-old did suggest he took exception to something that was said on the plane.
"Some people just don't understand how hard this game is," Price told Nick Cafardo of the Boston Globe on Friday.
Farrell also did not reveal specifics about the incident, but did say the team is addressing the matter internally.
