The Arizona Diamondbacks apparently didn't care that two-time Cy Young winner Max Scherzer was on the mound Friday.
David Peralta, A.J. Pollock, and Jake Lamb hit three consecutive home runs off Scherzer to begin their half of the first inning Friday as the Diamondbacks squared off against the Washington Nationals.
Giving up home runs isn't new for Scherzer, who led the National League in the category with 31 last season, but three in a row to an opponent's first three hitters isn't a good look.
