Phillies fan fulfills chicken nugget promise after Hoskins HR tweet
A Philadelphia Phillies fan looked like he was going to have to pony up some serious dough - and chicken nuggets - after he made a promise on Twitter about slugger Rhys Hoskins, but luckily his favorite team bailed him out.
On Sept. 14, fan Damon Miller Jr. promised to buy everyone at Citizens Bank Park chicken nuggets if Hoskins hit a home run during the contest, which he obviously did.
If Hoskins goes yard tonight I'll buy everyone chicken nuggets

Miller made good on his promise, too, appearing at the stadium Tuesday to dish out the nuggets:
We weren’t kidding. @Damon_Miller_Jr is here to make good on his wager.

Miller gave out 300 McDonald's Chicken Nuggets in total, which were paid for by the Phillies, according to John Stolnis of The Good Phight.
"(The Phillies) set up the entire thing, which I’m extremely grateful for,” Miller said.
