Derek Jeter continues to clean house in his new organization.

The impending chief executive officer for the Miami Marlins reportedly dismissed another four front-office employees in recent days, according to the Miami Herald's Barry Jackson. As was the case last week, however, Jeter did not fire the employees himself, instead reportedly asking outgoing Marlins president David Samson to dismiss them.

According to Jackson, the four executives let go by Jeter via Samson are vice president of player development Marc DelPiano, assistant general manager Mike Berger, vice president of player personnel Jeff McAvoy, and vice president of pitching development Jim Benedict.

Last week, Jeter requested that Samson, who had already reportedly been told he would not be returning as Miami's president next season, dismiss four prominent members of the club, including Hall of Famer Andre Dawson and former World Series winning manager Jack McKeon.

Jeter and Bruce Sherman's takeover of the Marlins was unanimously approved by other owners in MLB on Wednesday.
