Watch: Culberson called safe at home after replay rules Contreras obstructed plate
The National League Championship Series has its first controversy.
Great play, great block, runners hand doesn't touch plate. Called out. But reversed. Safe!! Can't block the plate without the ball. Crazy! pic.twitter.com/apEbl15GQV

On a close play at the plate, Los Angeles Dodgers shortstop Charlie Culberson failed to touch home and was ruled out after Willson Contreras tagged him following the play.
However, after the Dodgers asked the umpiring crew to review the play, the Chicago Cubs catcher was ruled to be obstructing the runner's path to the plate, resulting in Culberson scoring.
Shortly after the play was overturned by the umpiring crew, Cubs manager Joe Maddon scampered out of the dugout to argue the play and subsequently got tossed.
