It was this close.
With the Los Angeles Dodgers nursing a 3-1 lead in the eighth inning of Game 2, outfielder Yasiel Puig tracked down an Alex Bregman fly ball and attempted to snag it with a diving catch. The ball squibbed away from him and bounced over the wall, forcing the Houston Astros third baseman to stop at second.
A frustrated Puig slammed his glove into the ground in the aftermath. It was a tough play, but he clearly thought he should have hauled it in.
