Report: Bryan Shaw has received multi-year offers from 2 teams

Bryan Shaw, the free-agent reliever who led the American League in appearances in three of the last four seasons, has reportedly received multi-year contract offers from two unknown teams, according to Paul Hoynes of Cleveland.com.

Earlier this week, Shaw, a fixture in the Cleveland Indians' bullpen for the last half-decade, was said to be drawing interest from the New York Mets, who recently hired Mickey Callaway - the Indians' pitching coach for the previous five seasons - as their new manager.

A veritable workhorse, Shaw appeared in 79 games with Cleveland this past season, managing a 3.52 ERA (2.96 FIP) and 1.21 WHIP across 76 2/3 innings. Since arriving in Cleveland in 2013, the 30-year-old has quietly been one of the better relievers in the AL, managing 3.7 WAR with a 3.11 ERA over that span while averaging 76 appearances and 26 shutdowns per season.
