The Cincinnati Reds added journeyman outfielder Ben Revere on a minor-league deal worth between $1 million and $1.5 million if he makes the major-league roster out of spring, according to Jon Heyman of FanRag Sports.

In 109 games with the Los Angeles Angels last year, the 29-year-old posted a .275/.308/.344 slash line with one homer and 21 stolen bases. In the year prior, Revere struggled to a .560 OPS as a member of the Washington Nationals.

Revere joins an outfield corps that includes speedy center fielder Billy Hamilton, Adam Duvall, and 2017 breakout Scott Schebler. As depth, Cincinnati also has prospect Jesse Winker heading into his age-24 campaign.

Over eight seasons spanning five teams, Revere has stolen 211 bases in 857 games.
