Blue Jays' Gibbons: Donaldson's arm is 'just dead'
Josh Donaldson's arm may not be injured, but it's certainly lacking a normal amount of life.
After the Toronto Blue Jays third baseman appeared to be struggling with his throws during Thursday's 6-1 loss to the New York Yankees, manager John Gibbons provided some insight about the 2015 AL MVP's woes.
"Not a big deal, it's just dead," the skipper told MLB.com's Gregor Chisholm of Donaldson's throwing arm.

The 32-year-old Donaldson said Sunday he didn't "feel amazing," and that he "had a shoulder thing that was an issue," according to Sportsnet's Arash Madani.
Gibbons mentioned two weeks ago that Donaldson also dealt with a calf injury during spring, which limited him to just 27 at-bats.
Donaldson was hitless Thursday, going 0-for-3.
