Benches clear in Red Sox-Yankees after Austin's hard slide
It's only the second game of the season between the Boston Red Sox and New York Yankees, and the teams already can't stand one another.
The benches cleared in the top of the third inning at Fenway Park on Wednesday after Yankees designated hitter Tyler Austin spiked Red Sox second baseman Brock Holt in the leg during hard slide to break up a double play.

Holt, who was visibly upset by the slide, appeared to say some choice words to Austin afterward, which led to both benches emptying.

To recap: The Yankees scored four runs off David Price in the first inning, ending the pitcher's scoreless streak at 14 innings. Hanley Ramirez responded with a beautiful blast off Masahiro Tanaka that cleared the Green Monster. Finally, the benches cleared after Austin's hard - some might say dirty - slide into second base.
All of that happened before the end of the third inning. It's going to be an eventful season between these two storied rivals.
