Watch: Giants' Williamson trips over bullpen mound, slams into wall
There's a reason ballparks don't put bullpens on the field anymore. Mac Williamson found out the hard way.
The San Francisco Giants left fielder took a major tumble over AT&T Park's bullpen in foul territory while trying to grab Bryce Harper's fly ball Tuesday night. Williamson not only missed the catch, but tripped over the bullpen mound in foul territory and smashed into the side wall face-first.
As a fellow outfielder, Harper's reaction said it all:
How bad was Mac Williamson’s crash into the LF wall on SF? This was the reaction of the batter, Bryce Harper. And Williamson stayed in pic.twitter.com/Hh70kFM19i

Fortunately, Williamson was merely shaken from his tumble, and remained in the game. The Giants were certainly happy, as he was healthy enough to crush a go-ahead blast just one inning later.
