With the 23rd pick in the 2018 MLB amateur draft, the New York Yankees selected Anthony Seigler, a catcher out of Cartersville High School with a commitment to the University of Florida.

The ambidextrous Seigler has been used as a pitcher, finding success throwing with either hand, but he's entering the draft as a catcher. His power isn't a lock, but his overall athleticism is the real draw.
