Marlins take prep speedster Connor Scott 13th overall
With the 13th pick in the 2018 MLB amateur draft, the Miami Marlins selected Connor Scott, a speedy high school outfielder out of Florida.
Scott, a Florida commit, stands tall and slender and is considered a plus-plus runner. His frame currently precludes much of a power profile, but the 18-year-old is expected to be a five-tool prospect once he fills out.
