Watch: Adrian Beltre stumbled into a JCPenney holiday commercial
JC Penneys
Former Texas Rangers third baseman Adrian Beltre is having an eventful start to his retirement.
In December, prior to the holiday season, Beltre and his family randomly wound up in an advertisement for JCPenney, though it didn't surface until more than a month later.
When asked whether it's better to give or receive, Beltre says he's happy when his kids get excited about giving gifts. Later, when presented with the prospect of getting toys, he asks if his family can donate to charity instead.
It appears no one involved realized Beltre was a professional baseball player, and he could be a Hall of Famer in a few years.
