During a normal offseason, early February is fully reserved for prospect discussions, as most major publications publish their highly anticipated lists around this time of year. While Bryce Harper and Manny Machado still dominate headlines - rightfully so - scouts have worked tirelessly on their prospect lists.
MLB Pipeline, Baseball America, ESPN, and Baseball Prospectus have all released their 2019 prospect rankings ahead of the upcoming season. FanGraphs has yet to complete its final list for 2019, which likely won't come out for a couple weeks. However, its 2018 list has been updated, so we'll stick with that.
What follows, then, is the composite ranking of all five lists including each prospect's highest and lowest ranking. In the event of a tie, the player with the highest rating on any list was given preference. NR means that particular player's lowest ranking was off of at least one list.
