Mike Trout rookie card sells for over $186K at auction

A Mike Trout rookie card fetched a hefty amount at auction over the weekend.

The autographed 2009 Bowman Chrome Draft Prospects baseball card sold for $186,580 through Goldin Auctions on Sunday. The company describes it as being "among the most valuable and sought-after modern baseball rookie cards that will be auctioned in 2019."

A Los Angeles Angels alternate jersey worn by Trout in five games last season was also auctioned off by Goldin on Sunday for $10,433.75.
