10 best player reactions to MLB's sign-stealing scandal
It's been a wild and unprecedented week in Major League Baseball.
The firing of Houston Astros general manager Jeff Luhnow and manager AJ Hinch kicked it all off. The departures of Boston Red Sox manager Alex Cora and New York Mets skipper Carlos Beltran from their respective clubs took things a step further. But nothing could prepare players - or social media - for the subsequent allegations that some Astros players used a buzzer system attached to their bodies in order to relay signs.
Of course, social media was enthralled by all the conspiracy theories, providing plenty of entertainment. Here are the 10 best tweets from players around the league over the last 48 hours.

I would rather face a player that was taking steroids than face a player that knew every pitch that was coming.
โ Alex Wood (@Awood45) January 16, 2020
It doesn't get much more explicit than saying you'd rather face a steroid user than someone who knows what pitch is coming, as Alex Wood of the Los Angeles Dodgers did.

This is crazy. Truly canโt believe all this shit coming out in baseball. Just going to sit back and see how it all plays out. I know my thoughts but those will stay internal. Iโve learned that โno commentโ is the best option at times! Lol
โ Marcus Stroman (@STR0) January 16, 2020
After previously having some fun at Cora's expense, New York Mets right-hander Marcus Stroman is going to put his feet up.

Prove me wrong
Noah Syndergaard has this Clue game all figured out. We all know it was Mrs. Peacock, though.

Mike Clevinger started tossing around threats and is also calling for a unique punishment. It's a shame Cleveland doesn't play Houston until the end of June.

Iโm of the opinion that this entire cheating scandal was spearheaded by sports illustrated in 2014 when they predicted that the Astros were going to win the World Series in 2017. Confirmed time-travelers and confirmed Illuminati. Thanks for coming to my TedTalk. pic.twitter.com/KzmJFn8RtO
