Dodgers sound off on Astros: 'Frustrating is kind of the floor'

Several members of the Los Angeles Dodgers spoke up about the sign-stealing scandal involving the Houston Astros and had some strong words for the team that beat them in the 2017 World Series.

"It's frustrating to think of what might have happened," Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said Saturday, according to Bill Plunkett of the Orange County Register. "Really, for me, it goes to some of the unfair criticism some players took - Clayton (Kershaw), Yu (Darvish), Kenley (Jansen). Frustrating is kind of the floor."

Roberts says he supports the league's punishment of the Astros, which included a substantial fine, loss of draft picks, and the suspensions of AJ Hinch and Jeff Luhnow, per Jorge Castillo of the Los Angeles Times. And while he admitted his players were frustrated upon learning about the cheating, Roberts doesn't expect it to affect this team moving forward.

Players Enrique Hernandez and Justin Turner followed their manager's comments with some blunt ones of their own.

Dodgers president of baseball operations Andrew Friedman wasn't too pleased with the Astros' actions, either.

Friedman explained the Astros should have shown more remorse after they were caught, according to The Athletic's Pedro Moura. He added the Dodgers have yet to receive an apology.

Since the results of the investigation became public, current Astros players, including Alex Bregman and Jose Altuve, have offered limited comments, although Chicago White Sox left-hander and ex-Astros pitcher Dallas Keuchel recently apologized for Houston's misbehavior.
