The New York Yankees defeated the Philadelphia Phillies in Game 6 of the 2009 World Series to win the 27th title in franchise history

Yankees legend Andy Pettitte got the ball for the Bronx Bombers, while Hall of Famer Pedro Martinez started on the mound for the Phillies, who'd won the 2008 Fall Classic.
