With the ninth pick in the 2020 MLB Draft, the Colorado Rockies selected Zac Veen, an outfielder out of Spruce Creek High School in Florida.
Veen has seen his stock rise exponentially over the last year and has lofty goals, telling Marc Topkin of MLB.com, "I want to be an MVP."
The lefty slugger has prodigious power and was the second high schooler off the board, with the San Diego Padres selecting Robert Hassell III the pick prior.
