Royals select Aggies ace Asa Lacy No. 4 overall

With the fourth pick of the 2020 MLB Draft, the Kansas City Royals selected Asa Lacy, a left-handed pitcher out of Texas A&M, making him the highest pick in school history.
Lacy was originally taken out of high school by the Cleveland Indians in the 31st round of the 2017 draft. However, he ended up honoring his commitment to Texas A&M, where he flourished to become arguably the best pitching prospect in college.
