With the 24th pick in the 2020 MLB Draft, the Tampa Bay Rays selected Nick Bitsko, a right-hander out of Central Bucks East High School in Pennsylvania.
Bitko, who turns 18 next week, had been tabbed as one of the top high-school arms in next year's draft class before graduating a year early and gaining 2020 draft eligibility. He didn't pitch this year because Pennsylvania high school baseball canceled its season due to the pandemic.
