Miami Marlins manager Don Mattingly was ejected for arguing balls and strikes in the fifth inning of Sunday's game against the Atlanta Braves.

After he got the boot, he made sure to have his say with the umpires and he didn't go light on the F-bombs.

Mattingly took issue with home plate umpire James Hoye's strike zone after pinching Elieser Hernandez with a called ball on the corner that could easily have been a strike.

"The ball's not f------ down," Mattingly said as he approached the ump. "I can see down. You tell me that ball's f------ down? You called the same pitch before. ... One hundred percent that's a strike."

Hoye added that he told Mattingly three times to let the subject go before he ultimately tossed the skipper.

It's becoming a banner day for ejections and profanity in Major League Baseball, as Washington Nationals right-hander Anibal Sanchez was also thrown out against the Baltimore Orioles - even though he wasn't playing and was sitting in the stands.
