Report: Marlins promoting top prospect Sixto Sanchez

The Miami Marlins are calling up highly touted pitching prospect Sixto Sanchez, MLB Network's Jon Heyman reports.
Sanchez is the No. 1 prospect in a talented Marlins farm system, and he ranks No. 24 in all of baseball, according to MLB Pipeline.
The 22-year-old Dominican right-hander is reportedly a candidate to pitch this weekend against the Washington Nationals.
Sanchez authored a 2.76 ERA and 1.07 WHIP during 114 innings of minor-league ball in 2019.
Miami is also calling up Jesus Sanchez, the organization's No. 5 prospect, according to Heyman.
The 22-year-old outfielder hit .260/.325/.398 with 13 home runs and 63 RBIs for the Marlins' and Tampa Bay Rays' minor-league affiliates last season.
