Stroman is expected to join Jacob deGrom and David Peterson in a Mets rotation that could also include Seth Lugo and Steven Matz.
The 29-year-old was one of the top free-agent pitchers available this offseason, even after opting out of the 2020 campaign due to coronavirus concerns.
Stroman owns a 3.76 ERA and 3.64 FIP over six big-league seasons while playing for the Mets and Toronto Blue Jays.
