The Milwaukee Brewers and infielder Travis Shaw are in agreement on a minor-league deal worth $1.5 million, according to Mark Feinsand of MLB.com.

The deal includes an additional $1.5 million in incentives, and Shaw is eligible to opt out of the deal by March 15 during spring training camp, Feinsand adds.

Shaw, 30, spent the 2017-19 seasons with the Brewers, hitting .239/.335/.456 with 70 home runs and 15 stolen bases over 382 games while spending time at first, second, and third base.

Last year, Shaw played with the Toronto Blue Jays, posting a .239/.306/.411 slash line with six homers in 50 games.

The Brewers added Kolten Wong to the infield mix earlier this winter, and the two-time Gold Glove winner likely has second base locked down, displacing young star Keston Hiura to first. Shaw will likely be competing most directly with Luis Urias for playing time at third.
