The 20-year-old son of former MLB pitcher Bobby Witt is hitting an absurd .353/.389/.706 with two homers, six runs scored, and 12 total bases in eight spring games so far.
"He's unbelievable," Royals right-hander Brady Singer said of Witt, according to MLB.com's Anne Rogers. "It's not even on the field - obviously you guys see that - but off the field, the kid's unbelievable. He's so mature for his age. I think on the field speaks for itself, but off the field, he's just an incredible guy."
The Royals selected Witt second overall in the 2019 draft.
