The Minnesota Twins' latest round of COVID-19 tests all came back negative, and the team has been cleared to travel to Oakland and resume play, the team announced.
The Twins and Athletics will now play a doubleheader on Tuesday at RingCentral Coliseum beginning at 3:30 p.m. PT (5:30 p.m. CT). Minnesota will travel from Anaheim to Oakland on Monday night, a source told Betsy Helfand of the St. Paul Pioneer Press.
The final two games of the Twins-Angels series over the weekend, along with the first game of the Oakland series that had been scheduled for Monday, were postponed after two Minnesota players and a staff member tested positive Saturday. All members of the team who tested positive were immediately quarantined.
