D-Backs create hilarious ticket promo for MadBum's non-existent no-hitter
Madison Bumgarner's no-hitter may not be real, but the promotion celebrating it is.
The Arizona Diamondbacks have decided to sell $14 tickets during each of Zac Gallen and Bumgarner's next games to honor the 14 innings of one-hit baseball that the starters managed against the Atlanta Braves during a weekend doubleheader.
For the no-hitter that "didn't" happen and the one-hitter that did. For the doubleheader sweep. For the 14 scoreless innings.

The team, still seemingly salty that Bumgarner's achievement won't go in the official records, also made sure to publicize the promotion with some sarcasm:

On Sunday, Gallen allowed one hit through seven innings of a complete-game shutout against the Braves, earning a 5-0 victory for the first game of a doubleheader.
Bumgarner one-upped his teammate in the second game of the twin bill, allowing zero hits over his seven innings of work. Due to the game being shortened, it does not officially count as a no-hitter.
Major League Baseball introduced a rule last year where doubleheaders would consist of two seven-inning games last year. The league kept the rule for the 2021 season.
