New Era removes MLB's 'Local Market' caps from website after backlash
MLB's newest hats are already a thing of the past.
Hours after releasing the league's "Local Market" caps Tuesday, New Era pulled the items from its website following social media backlash.
The "Local Market" line featured team-specific designs for all 30 clubs. Items such as local area codes, landmarks, and food graced each of the caps.

There is a lot going on with some of these local market hats but I think my favorite detail is the range in area code representation—7 different ones for the Twins, 8 for the Cubs, 9 for the Braves, and *zero* for the Pirates??? pic.twitter.com/G0kKXp5TE3
