Stroman offers to buy Rolexes for McKenzie, Toussaint if they pitch well
Cleveland Guardians right-hander Triston McKenzie and Atlanta Braves pitcher Touki Toussaint have an opportunity to get free Rolexes next season courtesy of Chicago Cubs hurler Marcus Stroman.
Stroman offered to buy McKenzie and Toussaint an expensive watch if they throw over 160 innings with a 3.70 ERA or lower in the upcoming campaign.
If you go over 160 innings with a 3.7 ERA or lower this season…I’ll buy you a Rolex!

I’ll extend that offer to you as well my bro. Go earn you a Rolex! 🗣

McKenzie has never pitched more than 120 innings in the majors, while the most Toussaint has thrown was 50 last season.
The 24-year-old McKenzie is one of the top young pitchers in Cleveland's organization and is projected to begin the season in its starting rotation.
Toussaint, meanwhile, has just 21 major-league starts under his belt since 2018 and is expected to fill a bullpen role for the Braves in 2022.
