Perez skyrockets to the top of these rankings after breaking catcher home-run records last season. His homer-hitting ability and RBI potential make him the consensus No. 1 pick among catchers, with Smith and Realmuto close behind.
With Buster Posey retiring, Bart finally gets his shot to start in the Bay Area, making him worth a late-round flier for managers in need of a backstop. Haase's power and multi-position eligibility are also tempting, though it's uncertain how much time he'll spend behind home plate in 2022.
