Players react to MLB's reported willingness to miss a month of games
With the Major League Baseball season in jeopardy of not starting on time after the league reportedly indicated a willingness to miss a month of games, players took to social media to both express frustration and make light of the news.
For instance, Philadelphia Phillies superstar Bryce Harper appeared to offer up his services overseas, while Atlanta Braves reliever Luke Jackson looked south of the border for work.

New York Yankees outfielder Joey Gallo took a different approach by creating a hilarious LinkedIn profile.

Other players, like Yankees right-hander Jameson Taillon, Seattle Mariners left-hander Marco Gonzales, and Chicago Cubs hurler Marcus Stroman, were not in a joking mood.
Players are used to their “threats”. Owners actions have made it clear all along that they have a set # of games where they still make profits/get TV money. They don’t want to play. It’s sad that these are the guys who drive the direction and “future”of our amazing sport.

Don’t normally side with most things Jeff tweets or represents. But this…this is dead on. MLB’s arrogance and ignorance has become too obvious. Players aren’t fooled by it anymore. https://t.co/DIYMHe8pXs

Additionally, a number of players, including Los Angels Angels flamethrower Noah Syndergaard, San Francisco Giants shortstop Brandon Crawford, and retired big-leaguer Michael Young, shared an ESPN article where writer Jeff Passan called owners arrogant.
MLB set a deadline of Monday to have a new CBA resolved, otherwise the regular season won't start on time.
The league has already called off spring training games from March 5-7. March 8 is the earliest spring training can start.
