Hello, bloom.
Welcome.#BloomDay // #NATITUDE pic.twitter.com/dyRFkcmuO9
Inspired by spring cherry blossoms in the district with the tagline "here comes the bloom," the gray jerseys feature pink flowers.
The Nats are the first team in 2022 to reveal their limited City Connect set and plan to wear them for their April 9 game against the New York Mets.
The list of confirmed teams launching City Connect jerseys this year includes the Houston Astros, Kansas City Royals, Colorado Rockies, Los Angeles Angels, Milwaukee Brewers, and San Diego Padres. Both the Astros and Royals also plan to wear their new jerseys during games in April.
Last year's soft launch included the Boston Red Sox, Chicago White Sox, Chicago Cubs, Arizona Diamondbacks, Miami Marlins, San Francisco Giants, and Los Angeles Dodgers.
The NBA's Washington Wizards also dropped their own version of cherry blossom-inspired alternate jerseys.
It’s happening 🌸
