Brewers unveil City Connect uniforms
The Milwaukee Brewers unveiled their City Connect uniforms Friday.
The powder blue jersey is a tribute to summer in Milwaukee, as the blue-and-yellow color scheme aims to capture both the sun and Lake Michigan.
"The Brewers City Connect uniform is a gift from the Brewers to our Milwaukee home and our fans," said Brewers president of business operations Rick Schlesinger, according to Henry Palattella of MLB.com.
"Each element of the design was thoughtfully created to celebrate the unmistakable bond between our city, the fans and the team, Milwaukee’s Brew Crew."
The Brewers will wear the uniforms for the first time during their June 24-26 series with the Toronto Blue Jays.
Milwaukee joins the Chicago White Sox, Miami Marlins, Boston Red Sox, Arizona Diamondbacks, Los Angeles Dodgers, San Francisco Giants, Chicago Cubs, Houston Astros, Kansas City Royals, Washington Nationals, and Colorado Rockies as clubs to introduce City Connect kits.
