Rays' Arozarena denies report claiming physical altercation with Diaz
Tampa Bay Rays outfielder Randy Arozarena denied getting into a physical altercation with teammate Yandy Diaz after Monday night's 4-0 loss to the Houston Astros.
Multiple sources told 95.3 WDAE's Zac Blobner that the two players had to be separated after a disagreement in a parking lot following the game.
Neither player appeared in Tuesday's contest against the Astros.
#Rays Cash said he wouldn’t confirm or deny that Arozarena and Diaz had an altercation as was reported, but said “I’m very confident we’re past everything.” Acknowledged that was part of the reason they didn’t play Tuesday, also Diaz has sore left shoulder.

Arozarena said Wednesday there were "a couple little things" he and Diaz had to talk about, and the two are "really good right now," according to the Tampa Bay Times' Marc Topkin.
The Rays have been stumbling, losing eight of their last 12, and they haven't scored a run since the sixth inning of Sunday's 5-3 win over the Texas Rangers.
Tampa Bay enters Wednesday in the American League's second wild-card position, one half-game ahead of the Seattle Mariners.
