Dodgers fan receives 1-year ban after on-field proposal
The Los Angeles Dodgers fan who went viral for his proposal gone wrong on Opening Day won't be returning to Dodger Stadium for at least a year.
Ricardo Juarez was tackled by a security guard while proposing to his girlfriend, Ramona Saavedra, on the field during the Dodgers' season opener against the Arizona Diamondbacks on Thursday. Saavedra said yes, but the couple told TMZ Sports that Juarez received a one-year ban from the Dodgers for the stunt.
"Yeah, one year," Saavedra said. "But, I mean, he'll live, right?"

Saavedra said Juarez was in a lot of pain after the hit and went to the hospital, but doctors told him it was only bruising and that he should be fine.
The couple is planning to tie the knot in August and said a lot of people have reached out about doing free engagement photo shoots, among other offers.
