A's select Canadian prep star Myles Naylor, brother of Josh and Bo, 39th overall

With the 39th pick in the 2023 MLB Draft, the Oakland Athletics selected Myles Naylor, a third baseman out of St. Joan of Arc High School in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada.
Naylor is the younger brother of Bo and Josh. The two eldest brothers are both in the Cleveland Guardians organization, with 26-year-old Josh currently serving as the team's primary first baseman. Josh was selected 12th overall in the 2015 MLB Draft, while Bo went 29th in 2018.
