Jones spent 11 of his 14 MLB seasons with Baltimore, being named an All-Star five times while winning four Gold Gloves in the outfield and one Silver Slugger. The 38-year-old ranks fifth in franchise history with 1,781 hits and 263 homers.
With the Orioles in first place and causing excitement in Baltimore, Jones recently participated in in-game festivities, joining the Bird Bath in left field.
Jones last suited up for the Orioles in 2018, departing via free agency to the Arizona Diamondbacks before heading abroad to play two years in NPB for the Orix Buffaloes.
