Padres third baseman Manny Machado went viral Sunday after he took out his frustration on a cooler in the dugout during San Diego's loss to the Milwaukee Brewers.

"It comes out every once in a while. I'm trying to win," Machado said postgame, according to Kevin Acee of the San Diego Union-Tribune. "We've 30 games left. So I'm leaving it all out there. It's all I got. Gotta leave it out there."

Machado added: "Should have never taken it out on the cooler. Poor cooler. But it's personal. I just want to come up clutch there."

The Padres suffered a three-game sweep at the hands of the Brewers and entered play Monday with a 2.7% chance to qualify for the postseason, according to FanGraphs.

Padres manager Bob Melvin believes his club needs to put its focus on the field and not pay attention to the standings or scoreboard watching.

"It’s just: 'Keep playing,'" Melvin said. "Keep playing and hope that something breaks that we haven't been able to do basically the entire season."
