Counsell sign defaced in hometown after Brewers departure

Craig Counsell shocked the baseball world on Monday when he decided not to return to the Milwaukee Brewers and signed on as the new manager of the rival Chicago Cubs, and people in his hometown were not pleased.

Counsell explained switching sides in the NL Central rivalry on Tuesday, saying "I needed and wanted a new professional challenge."
The 53-year-old manager spent nine seasons as the Brewers' manager, winning 707 games and three division titles.
